Living in Pink AND with a purpose

There were plenty of "pink ladies" in the place (and I'm not talking Grease here dolls) and they all came together for one cause-to combat breast cancer. "Living in Pink" is one of Washington D.C.'s homegrown non-profit organization's that was founded by "two-time" breast cancer survivor, Michele Conley. Although, this organization is only seven years young, it still fights like a veteran organization of 25 plus years. Today they hosted there 7th annual Living in Pink Luncheon and I had the esteemed pleasure to attend. Wondering how I made it in? Well of course my presences would not have been possible without one of Living in Pink's sponsors, Eucerin Skin Care (P.S. I love their products!). There is nothing more refreshing then being in a room of women who have fought the fight of breast cancer and SURVIVED to tell their stories. Of course this post wouldn't be complete without highlights from this pinkalicious affair...there were chic vendors, luxurious raffle prizes (like a scooter!), tasty eats, delightful presentations and pink drinks...and MORE...check it out for yourself dolls!

Isn't the table just adorable? I sat at table 9, the Eucerin table!

Greta Kreuz, Anchorwoman of ABC 7/WJLA definitely tickled me pink. She was too funny as the Mistress of Ceremonies.

It all happened at the Fairmont Hotel on M Street in D.C.. Stop by one day and grab a pink drink. A portion of the sale will go toward the organization!

These vendors had jewels, gems, clothes, hand bags galore and who couldn't resist shopping like this? And don't feel guilty because a portion of the sales from all the vendors was donated to the organization. Now that's what I call shopping for a CAUSE!

Living in Pink also has their own online store. Support, support, support! I got my eye on the pearl bracelet!

Yum-O! Peep the Jell-O cubes! Sorry I didn't capture a lunch photo but it sure was tasty (big smiles)!

You can get a Living in Pink wrist band too! Just click here.

Swag bag goodies! Random note: The nail polish is named after the organization. How cool is that?

THANK YOU EUCERIN!!!
