10 Reasons Why People ARE Bachelors or Bachelorettes…

I always find it interesting to listen to 20-somethings, 30-somethings or 60-somethings stories about why they are living life alone. For some, it’s a choice; for others, it’s all about the freedom but what ever the choice is Bachelors/Bachelorettes make the world go round…So here are my top reasons why people fall into this lifestyle

10) Some aren’t bachelors or bachelorettes by choice, sometimes they are forced (i.e. due to a bad ending in a relationship, age, personal circumstances, just wanting to play it safe or just haven’t found the ONE yet and not sure if they ever will)

9) You don’t ever have to sacrifice or compromise ANYTHING (yippee!).

8) You save OODLES of money. No need to break your pockets for someone you love right?

7) You can always be a wingman or wingwoman without feeling guilty (Your friends are usually jealous because they turned in their B-card to be in love).

6) You don’t have to be considerate of someone else’s thoughts, feelings, dreams/aspirations etc. It’s all about you, all day, every day! (This can make you a narcissist so be careful!)

5) You may like the “idea” of being in a relationship sometimes (so you date occasionally) but you like it EVEN better to not have to put in the work to keep one.

4)The "no strings attached" clause allows you to play the field without getting caught up in love sick drama.

3) You are only accountable for YOUR actions.

2) Your time isn’t determined by including another person in you schedule. You move on you own terms.
