With Halloween around the corner, it reminded me that every year I seem to gain more gripes about this day. By far the most annoying aspect of Halloween is that some YOUNG ADULTS and a few SEASONED ADULTS believe it's perfectly fine to still go trick or treating and you are DEAD WRONG! Now, this does not include parents of young ones who accompany their kids...I'm talking about the grown adults who still dress in costume and STILL tote an empty bag (or pillowcase) to get free candy. Are you serious? If you don't go find a costume party to participate in...why in the HELL do you believe competing for candy with a 5 year old is okay? It's just simply NOT ACCEPTABLE...in fact your BEHAVIOR IS OUT OF LINE! I think that's why I don't even hand out candy anymore because as cute as the kiddies come, I just can bare seeing an ADULT trick-or-treater grabbing up candy from my bowl. If you want candy so bad, just buy it! Sheesh! Granted the best things in life are free especially if sugar is on the menu but there is a time and a place people...GROW UP. Let the kids have their childhood, your opportunity has been OVER. Thanks!
