Breaking up season: It’s not you, it’s the WEATHER!

(4/365) break up beans.

Studies have shown and say that in some cases the weather determines the mood of many people. In fact, the colder season tend to put some in a very somber mood while spring/summer tends to make some people rather chipper. So what does that have to do with your relationship? Well, in some cases the weather can be quite the “frenemy” based on what season it is. I believe there is some truth to this theory based on a simple mathematics.

Warmer temperatures – Less clothes = More single people ready to mingle!

Now this equation may not apply to every couple but it’s definitely something to take notice in if you and your significant other are fighting over petty things. Especially, if they suggest you all take a “break” till the end of summer (since when did relationships go on pause like spring break or something?). The trick is (and so you know your relationship is real) taking advantage of the warm weather and seeing it as opportunity to do FUN things together. It should be no reason why you have to stay cooped up in the house when you all can go out and explore something new together. Go hiking, putt-putt golfing, batting cage, paint ball shooting, bike riding or paddle boating, have a picnic but the greatest of them all is TRAVELING!
