It warms my heart to read stories that showcase there are still some nice people in this world. In fact, I’ve been following this latest trend of waiters/waitresses who have been receiving life-changing tips! Today on Yahoo, I read a story about how a young waitress who received a major tips after revealing to her customers about her rough childhood and how she was putting herself through school for a better life. As a result, she received $5,000 for tuition, $1,000 to use for anything she needed/wanted and $100 tip for the meal! What a sweet gesture!
You never know what a person is going through in life and sometimes, it just takes a random act of kindness to change their disposition. Even if it isn’t money you can give, we should all challenge ourselves each day to do something nice for someone because it can make a world of difference for you and them. Something as simple as a smile can warm someone spirits up!
