I'd like to take today to salute our former men and women who have served this country! The sacrifices you all have made for this country do not go unnoticed and I thank you all for your service. You all are the REAL MVPs and SHEROS/HEROS of our country.
To celebrate your day, make sure you take advantage of the discounts and freebies/gifts that some restaurants and stores are doing to say "thank you" for your time in the armed forces. Also, make sure you call ahead to restaurants/stores in your area to see if they are participating in any special deals for veterans before you head out on the town (don't forget your military ID!).
