Watch If You Dare! Real Life Chucky Doll Prank

OMG!!! Do you all remember Chucky doll back in the day? I was terrified of this guy as a kid and I can openly say I would be scared if he was real...yikes! Awhile back I saw this clip circulating of a life-size Chucky prank! If this were me, I certainly would have peed my pants while making a run for it; however, watching it happen to others is too funny (I know it's wrong, but hey, it's funny!). What would you do if this were you?

Halloween Prank: I Told My Kids I Ate All of Their Candy

This has got to be one of the most hilarious and mean pranks EVER to kids! Late night talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel has out done his self again by asking parents from around the nation to submit to the You Tube challenge of filming their kids reaction when they tell them that they ate all of their Halloween candy! Talk about a real "trick" for their hard earned "treats"! LOL Enjoy!

No Shave November is Around the Corner

113/365 || Moustache Max
No Shave November is an annual tradition where guys and some girls participate in not shaving their beards and/or legs (or both!) in the month of November. Some call it silly, while others call it a liberating experience to not have to worry about shaving for a whole month. With winter around the corner, some think it's a perfect time to grow out their hair so it will keep them warm during the winter. No Shave November has also become widely popular among different causes/charitable organizations so growing out your 'stache for a good cause makes it all the more enjoyable.

If you just search for "No Shave November" you'll find a few websites in place that are already gearing up for a month long of hairy folks.

If you are participating in No Shave November, may the no shaving force be with you!!! LOL

Why I Love MTV's Hit TV Series, "Catfish" + My Take Aways

I believe when the hosts of MTV's hit series, "'Catfish," Nev & Max decided to embark on this journey to document real stories of how real people are searching for love on online dating and/or social network sites, it was genius! What's even more fascinating is that complete strangers from all over the nation are completely OK with going on national TV as we all (the viewers) hold our breath through every detail of this adventure---will they find true love? or will they end up being "catfish'd"? Say what you want but Nev and Max have hit a gold mine in creating this series and I believe we can all learn a lot from these episodes.

As an avid viewer of this amazing show, here are some lesson-learned that I've taken away:
  1. Common sense isn't common
  2. Being "catfish'd" doesn't make you a victim, it makes you smarter
  3. NEVER trust anyone or for that matter, don't even trust what they say if they aren't willing to video chat with you at least once.
  4. If they live less than an hour away and STILL aren't willing to meet up, they probably aren't REAL.
  5. Women lie, men lie and so do photos!
  6. Giving money and/or gifts to someone you have never met before is just absurd and more than likely, you know you could use that money for more important things like YOUR BILLS.
  7. "Love is a battlefield." Pat Benatar knew something when she sang this song.
  8. If you are talking/dating/or in a relationship with someone for years and never met them, it's disrespectful to you, your time and your emotions. Yeah it's just inconsiderate and selfish.
  9. HOW CAN YOU BE ENGAGED TO SOMEONE YOU NEVER MET???? I'm still trying to understand this...help! *spins around in chair*
  10. Accountability goes both ways...
  11. Don't ignore the red flags but DO listen to your intuition/gut feeling...it's probably right about something "fishy" going on
  12. There is always other fish in the sea...
If you never watched "Catfish", you MUST! It's a great show and pretty entertaining too. "Catfish" airs on MTV but check your local listings for time information.

Cuffing Season is Back

A while back I wrote a post about "cuffing season" and a reader left me a comment about their thoughts which I encourage you all to weigh on this topic. For clarity, cuffing season happens in the time of year where the chilly months are coming (roughly Sept- early March) and guys during this time seek out potential women they can be essentially "cuffed" or talk to during this time.

So what happens? Guys are looking for that snuggle partner they can kick-it with during this time period and basically they want to reap the benefits of a relationship but on an accelerated pace. Now I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous but I believe there is some truth to this season. Guys are typically the initiators for cuffing season (I've even saw a calender floating around as a joke LOL) because they go out to find a lady (I'm not familiar with ladies doing this but correct me if I'm wrong). In most cases, guys are retracing women they've been in contact with before because the time frame is short so it's easier to initiate contact and a stronger possibility of making them their "cuffee" (I just made that term up). However, some guys will attempt to snag someone new but the likelihood is low (it's just too much works sometimes for a short amount of time).

Some women enjoy the attention, others (like me), peep the game and aren't interested in being a part of a seasonal relationship. I'm good! So you may ask yourself, well how will I know if I'm being cuffed?

Here are some signs:

  1. The guy that's attempting to cuff you probably is someone that A) you haven't heard from in a while like 6+ months sometimes years. B) someone you never even attempted to get with C) someone who just seems rather desperate or extra nice.
  2. He only wants to hang out when it is convenient for his schedule (meaning he may have others cuffee's in rotation)
  3. You hardly go out to "nice" public places and if you do, it's probably places that have little to no people traffic (again, he might have others in rotation and can't risk getting caught).
  4. You NEVER have convos about the future nor do you EVER meet friends, family or anyone else that holds a significant importance to this guy's life.
  5. Please DON'T expect any holiday gifts because that's likely won't happen nor invitations to family gatherings/ birthday parties/holiday parties etc....yeah not happening either!
  6. When the weather breaks around spring, he disappears.
These are just some common signs but if you are or have experienced any of them, then girl you have or are CUFFED!

For the Foodies: Pizza Hut has a perfume?

Pizza Hut

I’ve heard of people who are interested in bizarre foods like Andrew Zimmerman from the Travel Channel but who’s interested in bizarre perfume? Who doesn’t love the aroma of food but do you love it so much that you would wear it on your sleeve?

I ran across an article on “Mother Nature Network,” which talked about Pizza Hut recently created a perfume that captured the scent of a freshly opened box of pizza. Sound delish right? While the scent does sound fairly appetizing, I read on to see that a couple other fast food chains such Burger King has also created a perfume before as well.

HOW DID I MISS THIS ‘MEMO’? The Pizza Hut perfume can’t be “ordered” nor is it being sold commercially at this time (apparently they only created a limited supply).

If Pizza Hut commercially sold their fragrance, would you buy it? Better yet, would you purchase it as a gift for someone?

If you could create a perfume for your favorite fast food, what would it be and why?

Leave your responses in my comments. Xo!

What's with the moustache movement?

Moustache
I know I have been out of the blogosphere for quite some time; however, I’m seriously confused with the mustache accessories movement that’s going on right now. Everywhere I turn, I see moustache rings, bracelets, shirts, socks, shoes (well… the graphic is on it), tattoos (yeah…it’s real) etc. but I don’t get it. Is there some sort of joke going on that I don’t know about? Enlighten me folks because I’m so confused. If you are into the trend, what’s the most interesting moustache piece(s) you own?

P.S. How many guys are raising awareness about prostate cancer by participating “No Shave November”? Staches for a cause…now that makes sense!

Bizarre holiday traditions anyone?

Do you have any bizarre holiday traditions? I was just sitting here thinking about the holidays and how I KNOW there has got to be something outlandish going around this time of year. So I "Googled" it and I discovered there are some pretty interesting traditions that go on around different parts of the world during this season. I found this article on TopTenz.net called "Top 10 Bizarre Christmas Traditions" and I must say this list was pretty entertaining. While most Americans find this time of year to be full of love and laughter with family and friends, other parts of the world look at the holiday season as superstitious, a time for dead spirits, or even evil (yikes!). Who knew?

For example, apparently in Czech, women who are single throw one of their shoes behind their backs with their backs to their door. Depending how the shoe lands (the heel faces the door) it means you'll get married within a year! Or in Norway, apparently, people hide their brooms on Christmas Eve for the fear that evil/witches will come for them. According to a Travel + Leisure article called, "World's Strangest Holiday Traditions" people in Japan celebrate Christmas with the THE COLONEL...KFC that is! A nice bucket of chicken rounds out their x-mas dinner! In Ukraine, they cover their Christmas trees in spider webs! This dates back to an old fairy tale! Who knew?

P.S. In case you are wondering, the picture above is an upside down Christmas tree! Apparently, some people like to defy gravity on the holiday too! hehe

Bizarre Dessert: Try Denny's Bacon Sundae?

BACON FOR DESSERT?!? Thought it was impossible? Well, you are in for a rude porkalicious awakening! Denny's has really out done themselves this time by producing a very interesting "sweet" treat...meet the BACONALIA!! I haven't actually tried this dessert but when I first heard about it at work I couldn't believe someone thought about this recipe. Soooo which one of you braves souls are going to take a wack at this bizarre sundae?

This is how Denny's describes it:

"Bacon makes a classic ice cream sundae even more awesome. We start with maple flavored syrup, and a scoop of rich, creamy vanilla ice cream and then a generous sprinkle of our diced hickory-smoked bacon. Add another sweet layer of syrup and vanilla ice cream topped with even more bacon and a drizzle of syrup."

Would you try it? I'm not a fan of pork (and it would defeat the purpose if I told them to hold the bacon) sooooo which one of you brave readers will try it for me and let me know how it is? Anyone...anyone....is there one....one...no...yes...*waits patiently*
